We develop healthy minds through physical activity and mindfulness practices.

Wellbeing

Your child will grow to understand themselves and their world through relationships. Interaction with others, their natural environment and all of creation, help to build an appreciation for the connectedness of all things.

Skills for learning and life

The skills your child will learn at St Margaret Mary’s School goes beyond their classroom. These skills mean your child will enjoy and embrace the challenges of learning now and into the future.

We build into their learning journey creativity, collaboration, curiosity, research, persistence and moral and ethical decision making.

Student support

If your child requires some extra support to overcome a particular challenge, we can provide them with:

  • Reading and writing support. Our classroom teaching is complemented with an intensive individual program for children who need extra support to become proficient and confident readers and writers.
  • Individual learning plans. Teachers, in partnership with students and parents set academic learning goals that have clear strategies to reach the desired outcome.  These are regularly reviewed by all involved.
  • English as Additional Language. Our school provides support for students who may be proficient in languages other than English, but need help to become as proficient in English.
