We welcome and affirm all on our shared journey as we reveal our compassionate God.

Spiritual growth

Through Religious Education, our students develop their own understanding of what it means to be a Catholic in a modern world. We provide our students with the opportunity to develop and deepen their relationship with the sacred in their lives.

At St Margaret Mary’s School, we believe that all people are created in the image and likeness of God and therefore have an inherent dignity that is to be celebrated.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in a rich prayer life in our school, including formal liturgical celebrations in the Catholic tradition, prayer services and private prayer times.

How we teach Religious Education

We integrate the teachings of our Catholic tradition, scripture and the lived experience of our community in providing a contemporary Religious Education for our students.

Teachers are role models for our students, providing an environment for them to explore and engage in dialogue with those around them.

Sacramental programs

Our close association with the local Croydon Park Parish ensures our Catholic children are supported by the local Parish Priest, his associates and the Parish community.

This includes the Sacramental Program, which is provided by the Parish in conjunction with the two other Catholic schools within the Croydon Park Parish. The Sacramental Program supports children and their families as they prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation.
