We believe all children have an inherent dignity that is to be celebrated.

Personal growth

We are committed to Restorative Practices to help your child build and maintain relationships. We have programs that develop their social and emotional learning, both within the classroom and with specialised opportunities.

Leadership programs

The Student Leadership Team (SLT) is elected by their peers to represent the whole school. The SLT choose three focus areas in the school to develop action plans around; these focus areas currently include Student Wellbeing, Environment, and Events and Fundraising.

A Year 7 Leadership program also exists to develop skills and connections between our Year 7 students and those at Whitefriars School. It is an important step as our older students move into secondary school.

Mindfulness

Mindful practice supports an emphasis on making our school environment - its routines, relationships and activities - supportive and flexible for all children. The element of engaging in relationship is fundamental to what we do, providing all students with calming and regulating strategies prepares each and every child to learn to the best of their ability.
